About

This record is a remake of Erik Satie’s Gnossienne no1. A fresh approach in combining classical and contemporary musical flavors in the most natural way.

This was Hasan’s first record production journey, inspiring him to write original material and focus on this beautiful field of music making that addresses the audience directly.

Gnossiennes & Satie

The Gnossiennes are several piano compositions written by the French composer Erik Satie in the late 19th century. The works are for the most part in free time and highly experimental with form, rhythm and chordal structure.

Satie was an influential artist in the late 19th- and early 20th-century Parisian avant-garde. His work was a precursor to later artistic movements such as minimalism, repetitive music and the Theatre of the Absurd.
